So...this new med, Doxepin (aka Sinequan, Pamelor, whatever brand name you want to use), The first night I took it at around 2:00AM. Bad idea. I spent the next 15 or 16 hours zombified/comafied/etc. When I was finally able to drag myself out of bed I felt so clumsy. My hands were numb. My words were slurred. The next night I took the pill at 9:30PM. Same side effects. The 3rd day I called my doctor. "You need to take it a few days before your body gets used to it. But if the side effects don't lessen over the weekend then call me on Monday." I couldn't stand feeling so apart from my body. So I didn't take it last night. Sure, I didn't sleep much - but I was actually able to function today. Tonight, no meds either. Tomorrow I'll call the doc. Or maybe not. I think I'd rather hear voices. Hey, at least they amuse me.
